It was 90% of whites in Louisiana. I just can't find that particular graph. If you simply plug Louisiana's demographics into the party breakdown of the 2012 election and assume that almost all minorities are democrats, you can pretty much come to the same figure.

1)Southern whites(now you're hanging your hat on ONE state that STILL didn't reach your level)
2)You were wrong on the 90+ clip part
3)Most importantly, the "several recent elections" part was COMPLETE AND TOTAL horseshite.
So, to my original response to you. No, whites, in their WORST example of biased voting have NEVER reached what blacks ACTUALLY DO REACH in EVERY statewide and national election.

I'll concede that when dealing with numbers I should be more careful when I can't reproduce the exact graphs that I've posted here (but don't care to google). I'm sure 2/4/6% matters a great deal to a whiney little shite who's either incapable of or unwilling to see the broader point. Fact is, whites from our part of the country are in no position to criticize lopsided voting trends--especially considering the near-seismic shift in that voting which has occurred within the lifetime of many voters here.
A couple of more points. Don't randomly go all caps to make a point. If it's enough of a point, it'll stand out on its own.
And unless you have a bona fide reason to do so, don't walk around in boots. People might take you for an a-hole.

Of course I applaud Obama for this, but what I really admire is Presidents who will do stuff like this in their first terms, especially in an election year - e.g Truman desegregated the military in 1948, LBJ signed the Civil Rights Act into law in 1964, Bush 41 punished Israel for settlements in 1992, etc.

Why would you assume that "some counties" means that the southern whites voted for Romney at a 90 percent clip ?
