What a story... Loved him & miss him.. I read the day he pulled up in the beer truck for tryouts he was out there bare-footed running around until given some cleats nearly halfway through the tryout.

Was it Fred MacAffe or Fred Thomas that could play almost any position on the field that matched his size/weight?
