December 14, shortly before midnight, the 27-year-old female was walking with a female friend in the 900 block of Toulouse Street when they were approached by the three suspects. The suspects then pepper sprayed both victims before striking them in the head. While the suspects continuously struck the victims in the head, they took a black purse from victim #1 and fled. The victims were treated on scene by EMS.

A witness in the area observed a black male dressed in women’s clothing running with another black male on Dauphine Street toward Saint Louis Street. The witness also observed a third black male, with medium dreads wearing a checkered shirt and jeans, running on Toulouse Street toward Bourbon Street while clinching a purse.

December 14, at approximately 1:00 a.m., the 32-year-old male and 23-year-old female victims were sitting on steps in the 1000 block of Burgundy Street when victim #1 was suddenly struck in the face causing him to hit the wall and lose consciousness. Victim #2 was then pepper sprayed in the face as one of the suspects attempted to take her purse, but as the victim fought back, the suspect began to strike her in the face multiple times. At this time, victim #2 relinquished her purse. Both victims were transported to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.

One of the suspects was described as a black female in her late teens or early 20s. A description of the other suspects was not available at this time.

December 15, at midnight, two 29-year-old male victims were walking in the 800 block of Dauphine Street when victim #1 was struck from behind causing him to lose consciousness and fall to the ground. Upon hearing a loud commotion from behind, victim #2 turned around and was then struck by one of the three suspects. As victim #2 stumbled to the street, the suspects demanded his wallet at which time victim #2 handed over his cash. Shortly thereafter, victim #1 regained consciousness and discovered his wallet missing. Both victims refused medical assistance.

December 15, at approximately 1:30 a.m., the 23-year-old male victim was walking in the 700 block of Saint Phillip Street when suspect #1 approached and pushed the victim into the fence. Shortly thereafter, suspect #2 approached and the victim was pushed into the fence again causing him to fall to the ground. Subsequently, both suspects went through the victim’s pockets and took his wallet and phone before fleeing down Saint Phillip Street to Chartres Street.

Suspect #1 was described as a black male, approximately 26 to 27 years old, brown complexion and having a slim build. Both suspects were wearing white t-shirts. No further description of suspect #2 was available.
