When there are more vacant spaces than occupied, is it time to shutdown? How is this place viable?

Aren't there only soul fashions, nails, and check cashing places in there now?

Place like that must have a high fixed cost. As long as there's enough cash flow to pay the light and water bill, they're probably better off than if they boarded it up.

Didn't some out of state company have plans to buy it and renovate it?

The anchor stores still draw from Central, Baker, and Zachary, Asians from Sherwood, and Black people.

Went about 4 years ago at Christmas. Place was packed. Was bumped into by a patron who told me I was in the wrong part of town. I've considered bitching about it to People magazine, but the OT 4 years later will suffice.

I miss the good ole cortana days in the late 90s to early 2000s. I wonder how long till mall of louisiana becomes the same. I always went to cortana at the time because my house was less then 10 minutes from there. But I haven't been back there in 4 years

If they are responsible then I will send them a fruit basket. Malls suck and I hope they all go away. We could have a Top Golf where every mall used to be. Glorious.

I remember me and some buddies in high school would spend a whole Saturday in Cortana just walking around, eating, and hitting on chicks back in the early 90s. Those were some good times.

Cortana is the equivalent of what Bon Marche turned into shortly before its demise. Used to love me some Mama Brava and buying games at Babbages

Wrong part of town, the classic racist one liner. Never been told that before
