There is nothing more annoying than hardcore dog lovers. At the end of the day it's still a fricking dog. Keep your smelly, drooling best friend the frick away from me ok a-hole? I've always liked Vick.

its not just about loving dogs. honestly, if he only had them fighting, and then would kill the losers by shooting them, id be a little more sympathetic to him.

however, read the accounts of what was done. they tortured and killed the dogs in some extremely cruel manners. IIRC it was reported that vick seemed to take pleasure in killing the dogs as well. that speaks volumes about his inner nature; he is sick and sadistic. just because he paid back some money doesn't change that shite.

Amen

Anyone who reads the detailed accounts of what was done to those animals should come to the conclusion that he's a psychopath plain and simple

He also refused to take any responsibility until he had no choice

He lied repeatedly, he blamed his culture, his associates, not once until he realized he was not getting off did he man up and take responsibility

Also the Feds strongly suspected, as should anyone who knows what happened, that Vick had the local DA on the payroll. The Feds had to get involved for this reason

"I didn't understand it was wrong" yet I concealed it and bribed a public official to escape prosecution, but I didn't know!

That is good news. He has appeared to have changed his ways and thank God for that. It is costing me a fortune for his pictures that I have to buy or print off the internet. My dogs refuse to take a dump unless his picture is available to use as a target. Now, I have to convince the dogs he is a changed person

I would never fault an athlete for refusing autographs when they are out and about in public.

Normal people don't go into bankruptcy, they pay their debts. Or at least my version of normal people do.

Unless you're asserting that bankruptcy is something that just "happens" to people, which I would also object to.

He definitely was messed up but seems to be controlling that side of his personality now.

So just like most everyone else?

quote:

He lied repeatedly, he blamed his culture, his associates, not once until he realized he was not getting off did he man up and take responsibility

And yet he ended up going to jail, served out his sentence, and is now once again a member of society. He also seems to be doing his best to turn his life around. He's taking full advantage of the second chance he has been given. A lot of people don't do that.
