Exactly. Happens to everyone, Michelle, not just black people. Sheesh.

So ... was MO gracious about it, getting the item down for the lady, as most people have done, or did she did she stick her nose in the air and say such common "helping others" practices were beneath her station?

I can't think of a single time Pimp came on this board and complained about how someone did him wrong.

Care to copy and paste an example?

Jeebus. THIS is the kind of shite that causes me to pretty much discount any and all surveys of black people that claim to gauge the frequency of "racist' incidents.

shite. She's 5'11"!!!! And she thinks the reason she was asked for help was because she's black?

Good fricking lord.

She's saying every person is racist because she, herself, is black.

Customer 1: "Excuse me...can you help me with this?"

BHP: " WHY? Because I'm BLACK?...You ask ME for help because I'm BLACK, so i MUST be a worker here...RIGHT? Racist a-hole!"

-10 mins later-

Customer 2 (goes up to someone else): "Excuse me. Can you help me with this?"

BHP: "That's right. Ask the WHITE dude for help. No way the BLACK MAN can know anything and be of assistance...RIGHT? Racist a-hole!"

So you're not much better than those who scream racism 24/7. You're just on the other extreme.

You need to improve your reading.

I don't take the position that no racism happens.

But, it is self evident that any poll of blacks on the frequency of racism is going to be chock FULL of Michelle Obama versions of racism.

Sorry. Try again.

So bc MO gave a terrible "example" of racism (which we both know is pure BS) you can now not trust what any black person says re: a racial incident they experienced?

This is one of my issues with MO's story here. Its so ridiculous that now people like you will use this as justification to discredit any potential, legit examples of discrimination.

In other words, there was absolutely nothing constructive that could possibly come out as a result of such ridiculous drivel. Which logically leads any rational thinking human being to wonder, what was the fricking point.

Are your reading challenged? I said I don't trust SURVEY results of the total frequency because quite obviously many blacks are just like her.

How you get that to mean I think ALL blacks give false accounts must be some sort of special reading problem you have.

Ah, this reminds me of Wilt Chamberlain's auto biography. He claimed to have sex with 10,000 women. Arthur Ashe said "He has reinforced the stereotype for another 100 years."

I played tennis back in the day and used an Arthur Ashe racket when I won a couple of amateur tournaments.

For you younger folks:

Had a buddy who was checking into the Tremont in Galveston so he asks this guy in a jumpsuit to bring his bags up to the room. Turns out the guy was an astronaut.

How is this quite obvious? How do you know "many blacks are just like her?" I've been asked to help someone in a store before like many others on here and I've never considered that racist. We're not all like the Obamas *gasp* I know thats hard for you to wrap your mind around.

Its a rare day when you're not complaining how someone did you wrong. The press, the liberals, the clerk at Albertsons. It's all a conspiracy

One thing I am not is a victim. I have certainly BEEN VICTIMIZED but I have never, ever for a single second SELF-IDENTIFIED as a victim. That is terrain that I am unwilling to tread. I have too much humility to blame the various indignities that I have suffered on a third party, let alone an entire category of human beings. When I get knocked on my arse, and it happens from time to time, I look inside.

Again I, and others discuss the topic at hand. You respond by resorting almost exclusively through insult and a seemingly endless Army of Strawmen. It just demonstrates YOUR COMPLETE INABILITY to make an argument that can endure the scrutiny of those who can properly construct an intellectually honest argument.

Have you given any recent thought to substantively refuting ideas that you disagree with, or have you pretty much just given up the thought that your opinions can withstand scrutiny in the arena of ideas? Because every time you insult someone rather than refute with an honest argument, it looks to everybody on this board as if you are WAVING THE WHITE FLAG OF INTELLECTUAL SURRENDER.
