im in the "shite/fart all over the place" club too

i wish i had been lactose intolerant from the start instead of recently, what you don't know can't hurt you

instead, i know how awesome pizza, ice cream, cheese etc. is.... it's a bummer

sometimes though, sometimes it's a weapon

That's the one.

They aren't like a Lactaid pill in that they are meant for daily use.

I had the same issue with Lactaid pills as you. Taking them was a crapshoot. (ha)

It was the worst. That stuff was a blessing and a curse. I didn't gain weight until I could eat dairy 35-40lbs later here I am.

My buddy's lactose intolerant wife wasn't anymore after she got pregnant. At that same time he became lactose intolerant.

They did an odd switcharoo.

I drink a gallon of whole milk every 5 days by myself. I heard it's good for your pubes, so I've been sticking to it since puberty

I never had until my late 20's.

Actually took me a while to figure it out.

You might not be lactose intolerant. Was the cereal Kashi Go Lean Crunch? I used to eat approximately a cup of the stuff daily and I had severe gas and discomfort. I switched to soy milk but the problem persisted. I eventually started removing food items from my diet one at a time until I identified that it was Kashi that was causing

I Googled for more info and found that there are tons of stories online about Kashi.being a problem. That cereal is evil.

People might tell you that it wouldn't affect you if you had a high fiber diet but from personal experience, I know that is not true.

this statement seems paradoxical.

How did you know it quit working if you are no longer lactose intolerant?

It could be the Colon Blow and not the milk.

West Jefferson Hospital has one of they few labs in the country that test for lactose, sucrose and maybe glucose intolerance. Its a 3 day test over 3 weeks. 1 day per sugar. I did it and found out that the "irritable bowel syndrome" I was diagnosed with is bullshite. I am lactose intolerant, take a pill or avoid certain foods and eating is great again. You gastro doctor needs to set it up.

When I ate or drank dairy products I had the same results before I started taking it. I continued taking it for a week or two after I noticed it didn't work and then I just stopped taking it. I ate a pizza a few days later and nothing happened and I have been fine ever since.
