He's only shooting 29% from three, but I'm worried with his size getting into the lane.
He seems to take a ton of them and appears to be streaky. Two games ago he hit 7 of 9, last game he went 0 for 5. Given LSU's history of letting hot 3 point shooters get hot in games, I would like to make sure he starts out cold from 3's and see how much damage he does among the trees.

Nick Norton is a freshman who comes off the bench and hits 45%. However he is only 5'10" and appears to only hit from outside as he has 15 3's but has only made 2 2-pointers this year.

Well some decent news not that it means he is playing, Josh Gray did travel with the team.

Eta:

@Chandler_Rome: .@RandyRosetta reports from Birmingham that #LSU PG Josh Gray did make the trip to #UAB. Status still in doubt LINK

South, you in town or no?

And I just don't think there is any possible way Gray plays, and really I don't think he should. School is out so it's probably more of a road routine and chemistry thing to bring him

Driving in after work. Will get to BR around 8:20-8:30... Gonna listen to beginning on radio then probably hit up Pluck again I guess.

Hopefully this is a sign that he's not out for weeks. Maybe 1 or 2 games.

I gotcha. I'm going to pluckers but it'll probably have to be the one on Bluebonnet unless I can talk my roomies into going out there

The one on Bluebonnet is closer to my house to be honest. I just went to the other one last time cause I thought it would be a better atmosphere... I'll admit, that guy yelling like a lunatic was pretty awesome.

I doubt it means anything other than he's just making the trip with his team. Hell, he could play tonight. However, I suspect they will want to hold him out tonight and Monday if at all possible. After that, LSU is off for another week.

This. I think we could see Q tonight, but I'd say Gray has near a 0% chance of playing tonight. Ankle injuries can linger and the last thing LSU needs is him hobbled in SEC play.

I can't nail down why, but I am way more worried about this game now then when I checked the schedule a few weeks ago. This isn't a game you would even note on the schedule if LSU wins, but a loss could be a season killer.

Amazing that LSU is only a 3.5 point favorite.

UAB has been playing much better lately. Also LSU could be without 31% of its total minutes played in this game. That's a lot to make up.

There is reason to be concerned

1. It's a road game which are always worrisome
2. LSU has a lot of injury concerns at a key spot (PG)
3. Other than UMass and stretches of the WVU game, LSU hasn't looked great, regardless of the competition
4. UAB is 4-6, but they won't be intimidated by LSU. They've already played Florida, Wisconsin and UCLA
5. Solid defense and rebounding is how you consistently win on the road. LSU is prone to defensive lapses.

I really don't care about the margin. This is one where you want them to just get out of town with a win

Since I don't feel like being a TOTAL creeper, I'm not going to post the picture...but it looks as though TQ will play. He put on IG a short time ago:

"I'm so geeked about seeing my family in the stands today (insert emoji with sunglasses) this is the first game I get to see some of my family at the game."

Maybe he doesn't, but I feel as though he wouldn't be in as good of spirits if he weren't playing

I think if he gives 15 or so minutes it will be all he needs to give
