Beer, lots and lots of beer – more than 10,000 cases of Miller Lite – were dumped onto Highway 280 just in front of Walmart in Alexander City Monday night, as two tractor trailers collided.

Police officials say that the crash occurred at about 7 p.m. as two trucks approached the traffic light near the store. Officials declined to comment on the cause of the crash as the investigation was ongoing.

I knew that had to be the Miller Lite capital of the World.

I lived in Eclectic,45 miles from Alex City. That's what everyone I knew drank.

Note that no one is racing over there to get any of it. Even had it tipped over on the I-10W turn to get on the bridge, no one would have picked it up. That stuff is turrible.
