According to Jordan Owen of the Chicago Sun-Times, a Saints fan is facing a misdemeanor battery charge after pushing Bears chairman George McCaskey.

The report said 58-year-old Robert Kohnke of New Orleans was charged following an incident at Soldier Field last night. McCaskey found the man sitting in his seats, and a “brief conversation” ensued.

When McCaskey went to get security, the Saints fan pushed him in the back.

Seems kinda strange.
Where the heck is his seat at?
How does any one get there?
No one protects his seat before the chairman gets there?

If this was a Saints fan I hope he was stone cold drunk. Taking someone else's seat then pushing a old man in the back and all at a away game?

Sad if true.

Pretty sure it's Richard Kohnke, and I know him (in passing)

He's an attorney here.

Edit: The ESPN article has him named Richard Kohnke. The other two have him named Robert. Not sure which is right. The age is about right for the guy I know.

My money is on that they were just going to kick him out, but he was drunk and tried to "lawyer" the cops/security.

Good googly moogly. If someone had looked at me like this I probably would have pushed him too.

I don't doubt that this guy was arrested but I find it very hard to believe that this McCaskey which is part of the ownership is sitting in seats out with the riff raff. From what I have heard from numerous people that have been to Soldier field. Its more likely that this guy was arresting for simply being a Saints fan.

Sounds fishy. Wouldn't the chairman be sitting in a luxury box of some sort?
