To coach Cutler? I think Saban is a college guy until he hangs it up, but even if he does have the NFL itch I think he wisely says "Nah" to Chicago.

Falcons fans on reddit want Kelly.
I want nothing to do with him.

Why? I wouldn't want him as a college coach, much less for the Falcons.

I think Kelly to the NFL is awful, and I think Shaw to ND is awful. How coaches with mediocre performances are attaining upgrade jobs (hypothetically) is beyond me.

Any chance ND or any of the NFL jobs come calling for Miles?

Could see him landing in Miami with the Michigan ties to the owner.

Notre Dame wasn't IN the title game much longer than any of the ones you listed.

So 12-1 with a championship apperance isn't worth a shite? Got it.

It wasn't. If you saw that game and thought Notre Dame had even a micron of deserving to be there, I want the number to your drug dealer.

Oregon
LSU
Texas A&M
South Carolina
Florida
Notre Dame
Kansas State
Florida State

I just don't see Saban going to the Bears or to the NFL. In fact I don't see him finishing his career anywhere else but Bama.

I think if he would have left it would have been last year for Texas. I wonder if the real reason he didn't take the job was because he wouldn't have had full control and didn't want to have to deal with the big oil money boosters.

Saban might be many things, but stupid isn't one of them. The NFL handed him his a$$ on a platter. He knows he can't compete there.

I think Saban only has two years left. Especially if he goes 2 years without winning a national championship. The gumps will make it so unbearable for him he'll be happy its him time to retire.
