T-Mobile (NYSE: TMUS) today announced its next industry-rocking Un-carrier™ move -- eliminating the infuriating wireless industry practice of confiscating unused data you’ve already paid for. With Un-carrier 8.0, high-speed data you don’t use each month automatically rolls into a personal Data Stash™ so you can use it when you need it for up to a year. And, the best part is that Data Stash is included at no extra charge for every single new and existing T-Mobile customer – individual, family or business – on an eligible postpaid Simple Choice plan who buys extra high-speed data for their smartphone or tablet.

In addition, T-Mobile announced they will start every Data Stash with a whopping 10 GB of 4G LTE data – for free. That’s 10 GB of free data for every line in the family on a qualifying plan. And on top of that, the Un-carrier announced several major new milestones in the build-out of its Data Strong™ network.

If TMobile had better coverage they'd be killing everyone else right now. Hopefully they'll force the others to start doing this too.

That's pretty cool.

Come on AT&T lets go ahead and match it.

Ive been shopping for 4 iPhone 6's

Im with Verizon

To pay for the phones up front with a 2 year contract
1010.00 for the phones upfront
30 each upgrade fee
and 240 plus tax a month

Ive been with verizon for 6 years and 3 lines and i am disappointed at their apparent cavalier attitude toward my departure from them.

I guess they don't need the business.

Ive looked at sprint but everyone I've talked to says the coverage and the service is not nearly as good

I guess ill check out tmobile

I get terrible signals at home or at work on AT&T so TMobile can't be much worse.

I plan to give TMobile a shot, but they give short shrift to Windows phones which I like.

I'd love to switch to T-Mobile, but I don't get service inside of my office at work, making my phone useless for 8 hours/day.

Aren't they purchasing some new frequency to help their reception (I don't know much about that stuff) soon and implementing it in the next few years?

hmm, call 'em up and ask about wifi calling. not sure that would work from your office but worth checking into.

Doesn't work. The place I work at has wifi on lockdown and no personal devices are allowed to connect to it.

Does T-Mobile offer to buy you out of your current contract?

Why wouldn't you EDGE?

$248/month. 10gb shared. Save the $1000 up front.

It's called EDGE. There definitely is that offer. I'm on it with 2 androids.

$140/mo with 10gb shared data for 4 lines before the payments on the phone and taxes.
