I am a firm believer in starting your studs, so naturally I am leaning toward starting Peyton, but they play Monday night at Cincy. The past 2 weeks the Broncos have fed Anderson more and have pumped the breaks on their aerial attack. Peyton has only posted 3 and 13 points the past 2 weeks. The biggest reason I am even considering Stafford is the Lions are playing the dumpster fire known as the Chicago Bears at home. That mixed with Detroit being in a division race with Green Bay, makes me think they will be feeding Megatron and Tate. With all of that said... What would you do?

Bump for some input. Except from the guy who started the "Start Kadeem Carey with confidence" thread haha

Yes Peyton has been struggling. At the same time, it's hard pressed not to start him. If you don't start him and he blows up and you lose, you're going to be calling yourself a dumbass for a very long time. If you start Peyton and still lose, well... it was Peyton frickin' Manning.

Yea, Stafford has had his own issues this season. No way I bench Manning for him

This is hard, its hard to bench anyone against that defense. Especially someone throwing to Megatron and Tate.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but yes. I would go with Stafford.

I feel the same way. I feel half retarded for having the thought of playing Stafford over Manning, but honestly his matchup is more favorable. Though I'm still not sure I can bring myself to starting Stafford haha Sooo torn here.

Man, I think you gotta start Peyton. I gotta hope he has one big game left this season and as a DT owner, I hope its this week

I really believe Peyton will post better than he has the 2 previous weeks. He's projected around 17 right now, but I could see him finishing closer to 20. But with Stafford playing the Bears, I could see him posting in the 20s. Brees has 27 last night against them, and he doesnt have targets like Megatron and Tate.

ETA: Stafford posted 22 against Chicago 2 weeks ago on Thanksgiving.

If you knew you could get 22 points guaranteed from Stafford or you could risk playing Peyton Manning, which would you chose?

Just look at some of Stafford's games

4
13
14
5
10
12

I could see entertaining this is your other QB was Russell Wilson or Big Ben or someone like that.

Stafford has struggled against good defenses and played well against bad defenses. This week he draws a really bad defense, if not the worst. Its not illogical to have this debate haha And I'm of course leaning toward Peyton and heavily, but I'm trying to see if anybody else may be thinking like I am.

The Peyton-Julius Thomas combo cost me a championship. Doesn't answer your question, but I feel better now that I typed that sentence out.

If I had Stafford I would start him. All I have is Peyton the only things on waivers are RG3', Tannehill, dalton or Alex Smith. Yall like any of those better than Peyton?
