The best was the Swansons fish dinner with the triangle shaped pieces of fish and the crinkle cut fries

This is what Clark Swanson does. Doubt he's eating TV dinners. His wife Elizabeth is old New Orleans and I'm sure some on the board know her. Great people, great wines. Glassman will pour a few.
Goes good with Salisbury steak.

Ahh the 80's. Good old TV dinner and wash it down with some K&B ice cream. Good times.

They still have them.
Sometimes I wish they still came in those foil trays though. Swanson used to have a bbq chicken one, back when I was a kid. It was like it had bbq potato chip seasoning in the batter. I liked it.
It wasn't just a ton of bbq sauce dropped onto a piece of chicken.
The Hungry Man ones still come with that brownie or some sort of dessert that rarely gets eaten.

You are right on. Whenever my parents went out for the night, I salivated at the thought of making a TV dinner. It was our standard fare.
[quote]Posted by BrotherEsau What are y'all doing, posting up all these microwave things. Real, old school TV dinners were good, and came in metal trays so you could put them in the oven. We didn't have microwaves. Like this Loved those things. Fried chicken was good two.

Definitely ate a lot of these growing up
I ate the hell out of some Kid Cuisine chicken nugget dinners growing up, although always with the pudding and not the gummy worms.
