Took that pic this past weekend,, in fact, I think it was remnants of nascars last trip to the Columbia Tacos & Burro eatas drive thru that he musta littered on that trail while running back to the wheeler?
Eta: having my oatmeal with nuts and apples, now. Geauxt fiber, not a problem.

If it was a duck, it fell from a very high altitude on a crossing path. Nothing but pine trees, oak flat and no water. It might have been a dry land shitter mallard?
Could be a yote, but, I'm still leaning towards the army dilleaux, from some old experience with flower beds.
