My dad is a huge LSU homer. After the OBJ catch, he calls me and says completely serious, "Is Cruz going to have a job when he comes back with these LSU guys dominating?" Yes. He was actually implying that Randle was better than Cruz.

Meh. They're both receivers but their skill sets are so different that they don't really effect each other

Randle will get another year unless they find another big rezone target

This was year three. I expected big things from Randle, and so did the Giants. He was given every opportunity to be a big part of their offense, but he didn't produce. He either dropped passes or couldn't get open. Eli threw to him a ton early in the year.

He won't be back with the Giants next year (if Coughlan is still there).

Is Eli coming back? Even if a coaching change is made, I'd bet the Eli had enough clout to have Randle shipped out of town.

Randle was benched for much of the game this week, even Giant fans have given up on him being nothing better than a #3

Where do ppl get this lazy talk? Has there been proof of this or do y'all consider him lazy based off his facial expressions? Seems to be the go to word now for RR. Just would like to know where this stems from.

I don't know the guy so I have no idea if he is lazy or not, but by watching him for the last half decade or so, he doesn't really seem that in to playing football. We can all joke about his facial expressions, etc, but he doesn't seem very passionate, on or off the field.

Obviously

I wouldn't call him lazy. But I'm not saying he isn't either because I don't know. Just would like to know if there was something to that. He's a smooth runner, doesn't show a lot of emotion. I get why ppl would think that based on play, but not sure how accurate that is.

But again, I'm not arguing.

This is the biggest thing.

After doing my preseason fantasy research, I grabbed Reuben as a good sleeper pick this year. The Giants staff were really counting on him to have a big year. The first half of the year they tried to get him the ball as much as possible. The problem was, Randle had trouble getting open on the outside, and had some key drops when he did get open. One of the games this year a commentator pointed out that he was very successful on routes over the middle, but didn't do well beating cornerbacks on the outside (just an interesting tidbit).

Add in that he has now been suspended twice, a quarter each time, for something like being tardy for meetings during the week. Expect to see Reuben in another uniform next year.
