Dude is a nutter, but you see this a lot with WRs too. A big hit can fire everyone on the field up as long as both people get up.

I saw an interview with Tiki Barber a long time ago where he said the weirdest "trash talk" that anyone ever said to him was "Jesus loves you" after a big hit.
