stopped making their own dough and sauce in about '06

The dough was still made in house at least a year ago. I would see them making it and I used to make it back in 08-09. The sauce was made at an outside spot used to be their recipe. Not sure how that is handled now.

Pizza Hut has been pure shite ever since they took the cheap route and sacrificed quality for the almighty dollar by switching to frozen dough disks. Apparently the other chains are kicking their arse now so they decided to overhaul their menu and sauces and toppings, similar to what Dominos did a few years back. The new line of pizzas at PH look really good.

The dough was made in house until a little after then, but they've been buying from Leidenheimer's for several years now. Sauce stopped in '06, I know because I was part of the team with Mitch and the chef who helped try to get it right. They never did and I moved on.

Btw, I've shared many a beer with you.

I am sure you have.

Did not realize they stopped making the dough in house. Pretty sure I still saw them making it in house at the Nicholson location but since I have moved to Houston I havent been in there very often.
