Broadcaster Dick Enberg to receive Ford C. Frick Award

SAN DIEGO -- Dick Enberg, who has been calling Major League Baseball games in Southern California for nearly 20 seasons, has won the Ford C. Frick Award for excellence in baseball broadcasting.
Baseball's Hall of Fame made the announcement on Wednesday at the winter meetings.
"When I think of this honor today ... 'Enberg, you hit a grand slam,' " he said.
