We're fricked

Unless Tyreke/Ryno go bonkers again but that's unlikely.

We still have the firepower if everyone has a good game.

Everyone hates on our depth, but we still have three players in the game tonight who have logged a 30 pt game in our last two outings.

We need Rivers and Babbit to really step it up tonight.

Hopefully Asik owns the glass with Bogut also out.

what, you think we can play with the Warriors?

I think there is some pretty hard evidence that says we cannot play with the Warriors

Their depth might be the best in the league. Unless our starters dominate from the start, we just don't have a chance.

We have to play the perfect game and have them play sloppy to win. We can't hang on a nightly basis

Sans AD probably not but they are on a back to back and we're at home where we've played very well.

And he's just annoying in general.

How serious is this? Seriously it's a chest bruise.. Unless he has some structure damage it should just be an issue of pain tolerance..

He was in major pain Friday, they said it's all up to him when. Maybe they think this is a game where they have a lower probability of winning so hold out until they play the jazz. Gives him an extra two days of rest.

That could be it. He could be in pain, there may be swelling which restricts his movement and makes it uncomfortable.

He would have trouble reaching up for rebounds or getting hit in the chest while playing defense.

I don't think it's serious in terms of him missing a lot of games... but I'm sure he's not in any kind of condition to play tonight.

I remember when Jeremy Lin had a chest bruise that he got in game 3 of the playoffs against OKC 2 years ago. He missed 2 games from it, and then came back for game 6 and was terrible and still in obvious pain:

If he misses multiple games with "pain"...

This is an injury where there is no worry about it affecting long term health and no chance of another shot worsening the injury. Yes he could get hit and be in pain, but this is a minor injury...

I don't wanna rant because it's a long season... BUT if AD misses multiple games (3+) I'd be pissed

Pelicans coach Monty Williams says Davis spent Friday night at a hospital, where tests didn't find any serious injuries that would be expected to sideline Davis for an extended period of time.
