Stealing this idea from the Starters podcast and wanted to get this board's opinion on some of the awards 20+ games into the season:

MVP: 1a. Curry 1b. Harden 2. Marc Gasol
DPOY: Bogut
ROY: Jabari
MIP: Jimmy Butler
COY: Steve Kerr or Dave Joerger
6th man: Jamal Crawford

All Star teams (who it should be, not who the fans will vote for):

West:
Curry
Harden
LA
AD
M. Gasol

East:
Lowry
Wall
LeBron
Bosh
P. Gasol

Prepare to get demolished for having Marc at 3 in MVP, not that I disagree

He's #2 on NBA.com right now in their MVP rankings. I'm not alone on this.

I like your list, but McHale has got to be up there for Coach of the Year. He has been incredible, especially considering the injuries.

I know, but it is hard to think of anyone else at the moment. Mo Speights has been great for Golden State, but he's not really their 6th man.

Didn't think about him, but he'd be a great choice too. Only real reason I mentioned Joerger is because he won COM for November, but it is Kerr right now imo.

If you're referring to the all star game, the East is 5-5 in the last all star games, and won last year.

Yeah the issue is that he is only averaging 16 minutes per game and you'd have to go back to 04 to find a 6th man that played less than 30.

I hope Harden somehow makes first team All-Defensive team.

I'm realizing how little I know about other teams even though I watch a lot of basketball.

I don't think I've seen Jimmy Butler play once this year. I've seen Jamal Crawford maybe twice, but what I know of him is based on past seasons. Same with Gasol... I have seen him play only a few times this year. I've seen Curry play a few times. I've seen Jabari play once.

You need to look at who has won the award in the past. Bogut is QB'ing the best defense in the league and only allowing opposing players to shoot 38% around the rim
