Glazer: NFL to experiment with 14 foot wide goalposts in the Pro Bowl

They're currently 18 ft, 6 inches

They should just get rid of kicking in general

While I'm generally a "don't frick with it" kind of guy, I like this. Kickers are consistently making 50 yard FGs. Need to make it more difficult.

Perhaps we could make them even smaller, and put netting next to them so the ball stays in the field of play no matter what.
Ooooo, then have no sidelines and shorten the field.
We could change our names from the Saints to the Voodoo...

I say give one point for anything up to 30 yards. Two points 30-45, three from 45-60 and 4 points for 60 plus. Deduct a point if you punt or attempt a FG (and miss) in the opponents territory.

Hell no to all of those changes.

God dammit, Goodell just can't help but to fix shite that isn't broken.

WHY!!! Just fricking leave it alone. It's been the same way forever, quit changing shite. I would smile if Goodell got hit by a bus.

At this point I wouldn't much care if the NFL folded tonight. They keep fricking with these things I hope it bites them in the arse

Excuse my ignorance because I don't watch the NFL, but why are the hashmarks in the NFL narrower than in college? Shouldn't it be the other way around?

Maybe the nfl will change the ball to vortex balls so even if the ball is at their own 1, you can still heave it to the end zone. Talk about excitement!

On a side note, I've always thought the field goal post width should correlate to the width of the hash marks, ala the NFL, for college and high school. They would be wide, but it makes logical sense.

I would be in favor of that but move goalposts to the front of the end zone like they used to used to be.
It would be awesome to see teams try field goals from their 35 yard line. It would also make it possible for comebacks in the fourth quarter which are the most exciting parts of games and in close games it would be more exciting.

This is a good idea IMO.... making FGs less automatic puts more strategy in the game.

Since nobody has taken the time to explain why you're a moron, I'll do it.
You are penalizing a team for making it further down the field! Are teams going to be purposely losing yards to kick longer field goals?

There is no need to change the fricking width of the goal post. Roger is a fricking arse clown
