In the last two years they have gone to the elite 8, and were national runner up. They have 5 draft picks in the last 2 drafts.
Football has been terrible, but don't ignore what John Beilein has done.

All of this. Their basketball program has been really good since Beilein took over. This is one bad year, but it's an anomaly, not the regular occurrence. I think they'll be much better next year. They have lost a lot of really good players in the last two drafts.
