I need to buy one for my small shop use.

I have several small diesel motors, and a couple of trucks. Occasionally need to charge a battery.

Would prefer to buy locally in BR, because I really need one right now.

Suggestions?

do you need a trickle charger to maintain charge or something that will dump enough power to jump start a vehicle when necessary?...

Yes! That's exactly what I need, one to do each of those occasionally.

I could get a 200 amp one for $180

or a 50 amp for $90.

I bought one of these a couple of months ago at the local Sears store and it has worked very well...it is basically all automatic and looks to be a good quality product...

if you order now and can wait until monday , you can get the best battery charger/reconditioner made

Amazon Prime

you can't jump start a car from it, but everyone should own a rechargeable jump box for that.

LINK...or something similar
