There were a couple right behind me. One guy and I got in a discussion (my wife got a little nervous ) Turned out the guy was okay. He'd just been a LeBron fan since high school. He loves AD and the Pelicans except when they play whatever LeQuit's team happens to be on.

that is still pretty bad, it isn't like he's from around here to have any "connection". I know so many people who have followed shaq for ages, and when he comes in town to play, they still root for him to lose, but to play well.

They can cheer for whoever they want, but I just wish they'd support the local franchise when those other superstars aren't in town. If they want to continue to have a team for a long time, it would be nice to have a couple hundred extra of them in the arena cheering for the home team on a week night.

Nothing will top my seething anger from the game Kobe took over and dropped 42/17. It literally felt like a road game. Worse, I couldn't even appreciate it those fricks were so loud. These games really are high risk high reward. It feels great to win though. I don't think it's just NOLA though. Maybe our team shouldn't be sub .500 for the 4th year in a row heading into last night. I'll always use CPs last year and the Lakers series as an example. This city stepped up in a big way when it matters. They have tickets cause we haven't touched relevance in years. Even this year is rough cause if everything holds it looks like you might need to win damn near 2/3 your games to get into the playoffs.

Off topic. I hate the way Lebron plays basketball. He prances around the entire time he's on the court. He's a fake attention whore. At least I can respect Kobe going ham. If we lose, let it be to the dude who just simply wants it more than anyone in the arena.

I swear every time lebron made a play, it felt like
I was at a neutral site with all the applause and people standing up. I'd say like 20-25% of the stadium was full of leboo fans; and I really don't feel like that's outrageously off.

TWAS a shame.

Bogut, one of the top rim protectors in the league, will be out. Reke gonna run wild.

This.

Last night was such an awesome game. I've been a lebron fan since he came into the league. I still boo'd the shite out of him when he was iso'ing up Babbit.

Got to watch him put on a show while also getting a huge Pelicans team win. Last time I saw him he put on a show and we got smoked. Last night was infinitely better.

The one disappointment of the night was getting only 8 minutes of AD.
