Basically lampooning Jindal's upcoming prayer rally, calling it another stunt in his presidential campaign blah blah blah...

I've always thought that if Jindal had been a resident of, say, Maryland, he'd claim he was a liberal.

Can you imagine a great president like Washington, Jefferson, Teddy Roosevelt, Lincoln holding a mother fricking "prayer rally"? What a pandering asshat Piyush is.

Maybe he's just setting himself up to the be the "next Mike Huckabee" with a little segment of the Evangelical population who loves him, guest spots on Fox or CNN or something, etc. etc. I suppose you could make a decent living that way.

that's your defense: the most ridiculous segment of the political spectrum does it, so why can't Piyush?

He's a spineless chameleon. He'd say anything to anyone if he thought it'd get him elected.

If tomorrow morning he suddenly became convinced that he could be President if he switched parties, endorsed abortion on demand and march with Al Sharpton he would do it.

He has unsurpassed political ambition.

I figured that out his first few months in office when he was such a wavering puss with the legislative raises.

I've wondered about this. Does every governor who has aspirations of the presidency behave in a similar manner to Jindal. Does getting one's name out there require it?

Has anyone noticed that if anyone on a levee board or in his administration disagrees with him they are fired. He is a POS.....and I am a republican.

Maybe but none so desperate or so clumsy as Jindal. He really is out of touch.

He is trying to find a base now that will support him.

I bet he pouted all day Sunday after Chris Wallace asked him why he did so poorly in the exit poll taken Saturday. Louisiana voters were asked if they thought he would be a good president-61% said no.

I bet he threw temper tantrums all the time when he was a kid.

He has no natural political skills. I remember after his national address following the state of the union address reading about this exchange:

quote:

A live feed was set up for all media to take in Jindal's speech from the governor's mansion Tuesday evening. A little over three minutes from the start of the speech, the feed was turned on and showed a static shot of the outside of the mansion. Governor Jindal's microphone was turned on and could be monitored by anyone taking in the feed. The governor was told that his mic could possibly be monitored by others. "That's alright, like I said, I always assume the mics are hot," he could be heard saying.

In the room with Jindal at the time were his wife, Chief of Staff Timmy Teeple, and Jindal's friend and political consultant Brad Todd, his office said Wednesday. It is believed Jindal is speaking with Todd when the governor asks how he should deliver the speech. "Loud voice, soft voice?" Jindal asks. "Conversational," is the only response that can be clearly heard from the man Jindal is speaking with. "Anything ever loud?" Jindal then asks. The man's response cannot be clearly heard. "Okay, that will be easier on my voice," Jindal responds.

He has no "feel" for things.

I thinks some consultant told him before the Chris Wallace interview to just avoid answers and talk in circles about this topic or this topic.

If he were born in Utah he would be a priesthood holder in the church of latter day saints.

As I've said in similar threads, a good friend has been in the Legislature over 20 yrs, and he's said several times that Jindal is the most distrusted governor..by the Legislature...he's even been around. And it's because he flip flops positions on anything every time the wind changes direction.

What's wrong with policies of massive, massive corporate welfare, cutting education, and advancing into secular law the lewd theology of the tawdry theorcrat Tony Perkins.
