LSU has no problem building a 12 million dollar nutrition facility for athletes but want to charge out of state students out the arse to attend college at LSU. Those students are the ones who have to work the hardest and get fricked the hardest by LSU. Most of them work their arse off to get the scholarships because they really want to attend college at LSU but our school is too busy building shite...so they get fricked out of scholarship money. Mother frickers.

I'm fairly certain that building is completely funded by private donations. You're just stupid.

Its cold out, so build another fire and crack them hazes open. You'll feel much better. Remember?

Football is pretty much the only thing at LSU. You should feel lucky to be able to support these future NFL Players or Inmates. Either way, they need your love and your parent's money.
See, you learned something already!

Tuition costs are out of control, but at LSU athletics has nothing to do with it. LSU is one of the few schools that has an athletic department run so well and successfully that it makes money for the university.

And absolutely none of that goes to lowering cost of attendance.

It really is out of control. I know plenty of friends who wanted to come here shite even my ex and her parents have money and she's a damn genius made a 31 on the ACT....LSU still wouldn't give her enough

Why would you go to LSU from out of state?

I'm from LA...this was more venting about the outrageous out of state tuition

That's everywhere, brochacho.

Most schools waive out of state when you get into the 30's on the ACT or at least have a legacy scholarship. LSU has neither

I don't think Iowa schools do that. The University of Iowa draws over a third of their students from outside of Iowa; many from China, where Iowa has a recruiting office, and they pay full price.
Legacy scholarships are a joke. Why should someone get in state tuition because they shot out of someone that went to school there a few decades before they ever applied?
The reason education costs so much is not because of sports, it is because of the facilities arms race across the board. Dorms, lecture halls, research facilities, dining halls, recreation centers, etc. these are the tax funded drivers of cost.

You do realize that Lsu academic side has nothing to do with the funding of that nutrition center. That center will be paid for with private donations aquird by TAF.
