I usually have some kind of snack on the stand or in the blind with me while I'm hunting. I usually bring a thermos of coffee and water then poptarts, Little Debbie's, cheese crackers or maybe Vienna sausage. Depending where I'm going I might bring an MRE.

I don't plan on bringing po boys but is there something I'm missing out on.

I like a star crunch on a cold morning but the wrapper sounds like a bear wrestling with a 30x30 tarp.

Nature valley granola bar, oats & honey in the deer stand.

12 pack of natty light in the duck blind.

it probably doesn't do a damn thing but typically I try to bring food both deer and I like. In my mind they act as a cover scent. I also take things out of noisy wrappers and put them in Tupperware dishes.

I typically keep a couple of cliff bars with me...they are damn good and the wrapper is fairly quiet...

I bring nothing, an apple, or a pb sammich depending on where or how long I'm going. Always bring water. That's it for me.

Whats that?

I normally do beef jerkey or a beef fajita.
The key is quite wrappers/packaging.

I wouldn't necessarily call it a snack but if I'm not snacking I usually have some Grizzly in.

Some of the snacks I bring are dependent on whether I'm in the blind duck hunting or on the stand. I try to keep my snacks when I'm in my climber to a minimum, but I'm not as concerned about the smell of the food since I'm usually dipping.

PB sandwhich or banana

Water or sugar free red bull, thermos of coffee every morning hunt, won't go without it.

Typically I have a kind bar or two on the way to the blind. They seem to stick with me better than the other bars, although I'm also partial to the oats and dark chocolate nature valley bars.

Black coffee in a travel mug. Sometimes I throw in a can of Starbucks coffee or a monster coffee energy drink in my backpack.

I like to eat a persimmon on the car ride. Slim Jim's and Pringles for lunch if I'm staying out all day. I generally save the beer for after the hunt but I've been known to bring some whiskey along from time to time.

I've hunted with a guy that took a smoked sausage Po Boy, a couple bags of Zapp's, a box of Little Debbie's and a couple cans of DP on the stand with him. On top of that he smoked in the stand and he still shot deer. So some Pain Perdu/Lost Bread isn't that bad I guess.

I worry more about the movement involved in what I bring than the sound and smell. Few things are as loud as my cases to my range finder and binoculars. I still don't understand why Velcro is on any hunting clothes/equipment.
