Les Miles' LSU Tigers is really the only game Nick Saban truly worries about.

Saban does have to worry about the talent beating him if his team makes mistakes. He has no worries about Elmer J. Fudd beating him/staff. That part is a given in his favor.

Les would already be taking his soon as Manny, should be accepted by the Michigan baseball coach.

Thought there was a strong chance Manny Miles would get a baseball scholarship at Michigan anyway.

I've gone back and forth several times, but ultimately his inability to adapt the offense has led me to want a fresh start.

But I will miss him at LSU.

The most absurd part of this statement is that Alabama has escaped with crazy late drives so many times over the past few years that it's ridiculous. There's a reason the media hypes up LSU vs. Bama every year. There's no coach in the country that fields a team that competes with Saban's Bama teams year in and year out like LSU does. That's just a fact. Even in down years, we take them to the wire. Considering the fact that most teams in the country are looking to hire coaches that can compete with someone like Nick Saban year in and out, I think it'd be stupid to "start fresh" for an 8-3 season.

College football is cyclical. I think with the recruiting he's done and the talent shown by our freshmen, Miles will win the SEC and compete for another title if he stays another 5-7 years. His players love him, and he's had an insane record as head coach. He's a great recruiter. I think he should stay with a push for him to make changes.

Even if you're indifferent about Miles, people need to consider this.

There's been a couple of big jobs available this season, and Florida (maybe the biggest) was only able to land a mid-major guy most of us don't know. Nebraska took a slightly above average guy from Oregon St, and Oregon St took Beilema 2.0 from Wisconsin. There really aren't any "wow" names available right now; Miles to Michigan would be the biggest move in the country.

Bad coach, egotistical, arrogant, not very bright. Uses big words to try and mask his otherwise not very smart brain.

Need a change.

frick yeah i want him to stay. most people posting on this site didn't know LSU football existed before Saban. So they don't know what can happen if you make the wrong hire. coaching hires are a crap shoot. a lot of people would have loved to have Muschamp coaching here 5 years ago.

I love the guy and wouldn't mind if he stayed. But he HAS to evolve. His offensive philosophy isn't working. He needs to change it up a little bit. I'm not talking spread offense or something crazy. Just a little more innovative.

Les is a great coach, a great recruiter, and a great man
