If they hit on 2/16 2nd picks they should consider themselves lucky.

Looking bleak in 2017

Think I saw on Twitter where 4 of the last 5 trades in the nba have involved the 76ers getting a 2nd round picks

Or if they package some of those 2nd rounders in a trade for a average bench player they should consider themselves lucky

If Hinkie learned anything from Daryl Morey about drafting in the 2nd round he'll be fine.

Their hit rate on 2nd rounders has been great.

That 1st round Royce White pick on the other hand...sheesh!

He was heavily involved in the structuring of parsons and others contracts

Already looks like he hit on kj mcdaniels, tried to get him locked into similar deal as parsons. He's represented by parsons old agency and they weren't having it, kj is about to get paid well this offseason.

Royce White was the arguable the most talented prospect in the draft. His film seriously reminds me of LeBron and Magic. Unfortunately, the dude has more than a few screws loose.

I read that without his off the court problems, he would have easily gone Top 3. I think Morey was so desperate for a super star (pre-Harden) at that point that he was willing to take the chance.

Really liked him going into the draft earlier this year.

the time will eventually be ripe to trade some of those for veteran players... at least by 2016 when they are no longer trying to be as terrible.

Shows how stacked that draft was

He somehow didn't test well at the combine, think it made people forget he was a freak athlete

Yeah I remember watching his draft express video because he was listed as a possible Grizz draft pick all over the place. Hopefully we can just steal him in free agency this offseason

Yeah the top end talent hasn't been as good as some would've thought, but the draft went like 40-45 deep with quality players.

He's restricted and thanks to Gilbert arenas there is only so much he can be offered but I'm sure the grizz wouldn't be the only team that tries

and just to remind everyone... Philly was 1 of the teams to vote against the NBA draft lottery reform that failed recently

They may have more draft picks than wins in that span.

Yeah I just brought that up because one of the local writer here brought him up Zach Lowe's podcast as guy they Grizz should take a look at.

The team obviously isn't very good, but the Sixers have been a sneaky fun team to watch at times this year because of guys like KJ and Noel. Plus I saw where the guy y'all drafted from Croatia (forgot his name) is the youngest Eurobasket MVP ever.

Really interested to see how this all plays out over the next few years. If some of these guy pan out y'all will have ton of cap space and picks to make some moves.

Lakers need to blow up their phone. Trade Kobe to em, pay part of kobe's contract. Anything to get their hands on some of those picks. Kobe is from philly area and the sixers are dumb enough to do that.

Yea I heard that podcast, would love for the grizz to upgrade that wing position, just not with kj

I'm pretty happy with how it's gone knowing this would be the worst of the rebuilding years. Like you said, this year has been pretty exciting because of kj and noel, playing pretty good defense. Add in embiid and two first round picks (miami's 1st is looking nice and this draft will have some intriguing guys in the teens) and the nucleus for something is in place.
