Me either which is why y'all are the 3rd team in the deal

Apparently the Cavs are interested in Koufos and Tayshaun.

Not really many options.

Trade Gordon, Salmons, and Babitt to Brooklyn for Joe Johnson. Consider substitutin in Rivers since he won't be here next year unless for peanuts.

We blow up our salary for one year(2015), but we add a shooter with length at SF, he isn't made of glass, and he is an all star veteran. He could come in and be the 3rd to 4th option. Honestly the team when healthy should be able talented enough to overcome a lack of depth on the bench.

Brooklyn saves a shite ton of money and bring in Gordon with a change of scenery.

Best option is probably patience and a better coach. I don't see many moves that aren't better than lateral. Hopefully Gordon comes back and plays well and becomes a valuable expiring next year.

Almost a lateral move save for the defense

If we trade for anyone, can it at least be a legit shooter?

We can't exactly cherry pick who we want with our contracts. I think Evans/Stephenson is a win/win for both teams. Stephenson can play both wing spots on defense, doesn't require the ball as much, and has a higher AST %. Charlotte gets someone in their starting lineup that can actually get into the lane and create. Both are terrible fits for each respective team right now. Both need a shot in the arm.

I also think this frees up Babbitt more as we don't have to hide two terrible defenders in our starting lineup.

One of the problems I see with that is that Charlotte, with mkg back and no more mcroberts, already doesn't have enough spacing so why would they want tyreke with his lack of spacing?

Fwiw id do that trade though, tyreke and Stephenson straight up
