Cuba Gooding Jr is OJ Simpson

Back in October, we reported that American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy was bringing a new anthology series to FX - American Crime Story. ACS would focus on a different real-life crime each season, with the first outing tackling the O.J. Simpson trial.
Now EW.com reports that Oscar-winner Cuba Gooding, Jr. and Horror Story mainstay Sarah Paulson have been cast as O.J. and prosecutor Marcia Clark.
The first season will be titled American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson, and will be based on the book "The Run of His Life: The People v. O.J. Simpson."
Murphy will executive produce the series along with Nina Jacobson, Brad Simpson (The Hunger Games), and Brad Falchuk (Glee) with screenwriters Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski (The People vs. Larry Flynt). Murphy will also direct the first episode.

I'm glad the anthology format is taking off. Mini series are the best because they're longer than a movie so there's more time to develop the story and characters but it's short enough to where you don't have to worry about it getting watered down or having the story stretched out.
