Nbd- New Belgium wood aged Billy's beer. Bartender says only 4 kegs made of this, shame because it's great

Very nice. I was happy to hear that NB expanded thier barrel/foeder program. Outside of Transatlantique Kriek, thier sours are outstanding.

I'm a big fan of La Folie, Le Terrior, Love, and Eric's Ale. It sounds like Billy's beer falls in with all of those.

Nbd-another Billy's who is the hippy in the red flannel. I think I am high from him sitting next to me. I could blind fold him with dental floss. Great beer though.

Like autocorrect, their beers aren't perfect.

No care because they are great when released. I don't mind that they will not change over time, other than oxidation. Also they will defend that shitty Kriek to the death. They claim its a real kriek that takes time and shite like that.

Takes some of the fun out of it.

The Kriek definitely is a miss. I'm not as big of fan of La Folie and Le Terroir as others are. I will say Le Terroir is great fresh though.

The Kriek is a very unique idea but doesn't live up to the work they probably put into it.

The Anchorage Galaxy White IPA is awesome for starters, probably the best I've had. Deschutes Chainbreaker is another good one. I like the Wasatch Ghostrider.

All of this. Rigt here.
Just had chain breaker last week.

The anchorage is the best I've had.

White ipas are nasty. (frick coriander in my ipa!)

I like them :) I admit I don't really think of them as IPAs though. They're just good easy drinking when the time is right.

I used to be all about the style, but I've definitely made a departure.

I know I'm in the minority with you, but that Anchorage Galaxy White IPA was nasty. It tasted like band-aids.

Where did you find the Kiwi Rising? I've heard great things about this beer.
