can't wait until it's cheap enough to be common. Would make sleeping in a lot easier.

Why the frick does America have ZERO cities that look halfway as cool as Shanghai?

Videotaping someones memories sounds like some black magic devil work if you ask me.

What about Memphis?

It probably has something to do with the fact that Shanghai's entire skyline was built in the last 25 years by looking at those photos. Can you think of an American city that has experienced that kind of growth recently? You apparently dig the look of more modern skyscrapers.

And to think I'm just entering the absolute prime of my life.
Can't wait to see what it's going to be like in a coupe decades. I would honestly hope that by then we are starting to make headway on a new renewable energy source that's just as powerful, efficient, and cheap enough as gas and fossil fuels is right now.
We'll probably be growing human organs then.
It wouldn't surprise me if any glass surface in your house could instantly become a computer screen when you touch it that's wirelessly connected to a mainframe in your house somewhere.

I don't want this to come across as a generational slight or as me being anti-technology but people are becoming too quick to substitute the ability to access information for knowledge.
A younger guy that works in the shop bought instant coffee by accident. He was in the process of putting it in the filter to make a pot with it.
We said "Hey jackass, that's instant coffee - just add hot water and don't put it in the coffe maker. By the way, it is going to taste like crap."
He looked at the container, looked at us and then got out his phone and presumably googled 'putting instant coffee in a coffee maker'. He scrolled through his screen for a few moments then down-rigged everything, heated some water in the microwave and made a cup of nasty instant coffee and drank it.
The internet had to tell him. Our knowledge wasn't good enough. Neither were the directions on the container. Neither was the situational awareness that instant coffee is made for a purpose and is different from regular coffee. Once the internet said so, he was OK with it.

that is the new generation. They NEED the internet to do almost anything.

That's anybody who isn't professionally trained.
