@AdamSchefter: Texans LB Jadeveon Clowney underwent microfracture knee surgery on Monday and is expected to be sidelined nine months, per sources.
Hope he is able to recover.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Texans OLB Jadeveon Clowney (injured reserve, knee) underwent microfracture surgery on his right knee Monday and will be sidelined nine months. It's one of the worst surgeries an NFL player can undergo. What Clowney does have going for him, though, is his youth. He'll turn 22 in February. But setbacks are common following microfracture surgery, and it's been known to derail careers. Eagles OLB Brandon Graham underwent microfracture surgery as a 22-year-old in December 2010 and didn't play again until Week 1 of 2012. It's a real possibility Clowney misses the majority, or all, of the 2015 season. He'll be a candidate for reserve/PUP in August. Source: Adam Schefter on Twitter Dec 9 - 8:32 PM

Lol you're kidding right? I thought this was a well known thing. Do you even Matt Thomas on 790AM bro?

Only if I'm forced to. His callers are just unbearable most times.
Which ortho was saying this over a week ago? I only heard doc First (sp?) Talking about residual miniscus damage from shaving during the first operation instead of cutting and repairing it. I never heard him say anything about cartilage damage. But admittedly, I prefer Meltzer and Payne in that time slot. Maybe I just missed it.
I'm Positive it wasn't posted here in any of the previous threads except by that one poster. And I never heard LZ, Charlie, or anyone on Texans communist radio network mention microfracture either.

Wow. He's going to miss the whole offseason/preseason and will only make the first game if he recovers right on time.

Indeed. Spurrier should have warned the Texans to fix their shitty field before their draft pick tears a muscle on it.

It's been terrible for years. Just ask Wes Welker.

Years from now, taking Clowney over Mack will be compared with taking Bowie over Jordan.
