Good game, Dallas lighting up the Grizz vaunted defense thus far.

Cavs just came back from 10 down in the fourth to be beating the top seed in the east by 3 with 20 seconds left..

Just so you know

And LeBron's 3 to take the lead in that one tied the Cavs franchise record for 3 pointers made

I'll take a 36-17 3rd quarter.

This game shows the evolution of the Grizzlies. They never win this type of game in the past considering the way the Mavs shot the 3.

Solid win for the Grizz. Chandler Parsons goes off in a loss. Seen that before. I would love for someone to do an intense study of his defense. I think it's lacking.

The whole Mavs defense is quite underwhelming. Small guards and slow forwards.

Congrats to the Grizz. Very solid team. It's gonna be hard for the mavs to win when Ellis and Nowitzki combine to go 5/28. Hopefully we can turn it around against the Pels tomorrow.

Very entertaining basketball game. The Grizzlies have evolved from a defensive stalwart into a complete basketball team. If someone else can knock out the Spurs for us, there's no reason we can't win this whole thing.

I think the Spurs thing comes down to can they beat them once or twice this season at some point to get the giant Spurs monkey of their backs in case they do run in to them in the playoffs.

Brevin Knight brought up on the postgame show after the Spurs game that he talked to some of the Spurs players and the reason they seem to go all out against the Grizzlies is less about retaliation for the 2011 series and more about the fact that Pop respects the hell out of the Grizzlies. He wants to keep that psychological edge they have over the Grizzlies right now. You could just see that in the way he coached that most recent game. He didn't rest anybody. He was calling timeouts whenever the Grizzlies managed to get on a mini-run.

They shot 56% from 3 the other night against the Grizz. They are 70-6 in the Duncan era when they shoot above 55% from 3 in a game. No team in the NBA is beating them when they shoot like that.

What Pop does is pure genius. Play your starters against any team that's perceived to be a threat, and rest them against the lower echelons of the league. Going into the play offs, your vets are healthy and still have their legs, and the bench guys just accumulated a staggering amount of experience and, hopefully, confidence.
