He got a flight to Europe at the end of S2. It's possible that his plane crashed though (was on the tv during the S3 premiere).

Creator of the show also confirmed a long time ago that Zobelle would never come back. None of this matters anyways

Funny, I quit watching the show after that season and have been able to follow it easily through these threads.
I prefer my own alternate series ending. It was a few seasons back when Jax took control of the club from Clay and the season ended in a freeze frame turning into a portrait of Jax and Tara at the head of the table. Perfect ending and that's how I will choose to remember it.
