3 BCS wins >>> 1 BCS win

That and the ACC is garbage and was no better than the Big East. Actually much worse some years.

VT is still overrated and can't beat anyone.

WVU gets no where near the coverage and hype VT has gotten.

how is 3 BCS wins over 1 win delusional?

again VT gets way more hype than WVU.

Thus making them overrated and having their typical choking moment every year.

That is like comparing one SEC championship with three Big 12 Championships. Given WVU's entry point to the BCS games via tied bowl games it is comparing Apples and Oranges. If the Big East was some mighty conference that was a challenge to get through it would still exist.

I mean, I am happy for you. Those meaningless BCS wins got you a Big 12 invite despite a lack of geographic fit. But now that the BCS is gone, so is that tier of bowls. Now you either made the playoffs, or you might as well have played in a Weedeater Bowl. Every year from now going forward those three BCS wins mean less and less.

Lets get this back on track.

Bud is the shite. Assuming A&M gets him, what the over under for wins? 9.5?

Are you trying to make the case that WVU has been better than VT over the last 15 years?

USA Today has released its annual assistant coach salary database. Virginia Tech defensive coordinator Bud Foster is the highest-paid assistant in 2014, earning more than $1.3 million. Of that, $800,000 is an annuity paid if he is still defensive coordinator on Dec. 31.

May have already been said -- but it doesn't look like you'll be hearing anything for 3 weeks at least if it is going to be Foster...

UConn, who wasn't even D1 in football until 2000, won the big east twice in football (co-champions, but that's what happens with no championship game).

Definitely interesting, but I wouldn't be surprised if one of our boosters threw down 800K to ensure he doesn't slip away.

They were in transition during the 2000 and 2001 seasons and weren't a full member of FBS until 2002.

Really?

I'd love to see you explain this one.

Please continue. Drop that knowledge on Connecticut football pre-2000.

Skippy Holtz was hired to restart the program. They were 1-AA

So yes they were D1.

When Skip left to be OC at Carolina Edsel was hired.

Just so you get more information their Equipment guy was Dan Siermine who left for Air Force Academy.
