Ken Norton from Seattle, Jim Tomsula from San Fran, or Ted Monachino from Balitmore would be good choices they all have excellent defenses.

Mike Smith

I was fortunate enough for him to work with me in the summer between my Junior and Senior year in High School. Such a great guy and a really good coach, probably one of the best LB coaches in the NFL, imo. I really hate to see him struggle in Atlanta, even if it is Atlanta.

It is only in that atl gets a new coach.

Smith is the only coach atl should ever have.

He had them playing a very inspired game against a very good Green Bay team in Lambeau.

They didn't quit on him. Can't say the same for the current Saints team under Payton.

You'd need permission to interview any non head coach

They have Pitt at home and we won on road vs Pitt so we can compare inspired play if you like.

FTR I think Smith is a Mora type coach. Not bad at all but not a coach to take you all the way.

Solid list. I think it would be fun to have Ken Norton as DC. I would also be on the lookout for Gus Bradley if the Jags decide to move on from him. He's the one that put that Seattle defense together.
