How much $$$ does the LA Treasury have for you?

The LA Treasurer John Kennedy was on Fox 8 News this morning and talked about millions of dollars of owed property. You can search by name or even a street name to see how much you, family members, or neighbors are owed. He claims each week he signs 20+ checks worth over $10,000.

My sister had over $100 on there. She had no clue about unclaimed property. I wouldn't if I hadn't worked for the Treasury before. She doesn't understand the concept, but she sure will when the state sends her a check...

Just showed my coworker and he's owed $50-100 and his dad >$100 ... I will be expecting a few free drinks at Happy's before the next Pels game

Try the link again ... I updated it. LA Treasurer John Kennedy claims there is $635,000,000 in unclaimed property in LA. Banks etc have to turn in unclaimed money into the state treasury. I don't know man ... I just know it was on the morning news and state website.
