Do they still do the Lie Detector test on people? I thought the results from the test were not admissible in court.
Also if you are not a suspect (and Ali was not), can law enforcement go from interviewing someone to 'hey, why don't you take a lie detector test... and could you also give us an DNA sample?'

You can always ask them for consent.

One thing I find amazing is with so much police and FBI presence, I've not seen any report on even a theft, or drug charge in that area since this murder. You would think in a gang infested area, once the place is swarming with cops, there would be arrest left and right. I'm not saying there hasn't been, but I have not seen reports of it.

I hate to see it but I think this 'investigation' or whatever they called it is over. I don't know why, it's a real shame, but nothing has happened yet, and it doesn't seem like anything is on the horizon.
Some may not like it, but it may remain just like the Malasian Airlines case - unsolved. Both are a real shame.

I agree and it sucks.

We should have some shirts made up that say:
If I had a daughter, she would look like Jessica Chambers
This case really disturbs me. I find myself thinking about it a lot.

Keep thinking any day now they'll arrest someone. But like others said, the longer it goes w/o an arrest the more I think they won't catch the person.

You could be right, or, if a fraction of all the stuff that has come out since this happened is true, the murder investigation may have grown into something much more involving drugs, gangs, political and law enforcement corruption, or possibly even ties to terrorism in some way. I am still hopeful they know who did it but have more to unravel.

I think its more like they don't want to catch the person because of the shady shite going on and kickbacks the police are receiving from the drug money

i thought she told police who her attacker was?

The Feds are involved. They aren't going to try to save the arse of a piece of crap small town police force if they find some major dirt on them.

Last i had heard, while in really bad shape in the hospital, she was able to whisper to the local police who her assailant was.
Or was that just local rumors??

She did communicate with the cops but the cops aren't releasing what she said.
Her dad said she told them who burned her, but the cops aren't confirming that.

She was able to whisper something to the fire marshall at the scene.
Unfortunately, that would be "Dick Sock" himself.

Local FBI just released news of a potential ISIS threat to blow up the I55 bridge over the river. They must have something to believe it's legit.

This is pretty much the way every major empire was destroyed. Internal strife and disorder, and nagging outside threats that slowly tore it apart.
