I shouldn't have to say it...but frick this damn conference!

We are 9-10. Tied for 10th in the West. We'd be the 7 seed in the East within striking distance of the 4.
The teams ahead of us:
1. Warriors 17-2 (12 in a row)
2. Rockets 16-4 (4 in a row)
3. Portland 16-4 (4 in a row)
4. Memphis 16-4
5. Spurs 15-5
6. Clippers 14-5 (7 in a row)
7. Mavericks 16-6
8. Suns 12-9
Sacramento 10-10
Now, the 8 seed isn't too far away(and there is a ton of season left) but my goodness man, the Spurs would be 1 seed in the East and they're the 5th best team in the West right now.

We'd also have the benefit of playing more east teams so our record would be even better.

I don't understand needing the conferences anymore. Logically dissolving them is the next evolution of a superstar driven league. Brand names (teams and players) rule the day.

who gives a shite? do u just want wins or are you saying if in the east youd make the playoffs and win a champ? sry but even tho the west is hard your not gonna win a champ if you cant even make the playoffs in that same west. so the point is mute.

At least the bench no longer looks like the worst in the NBA. Mekel/Cunningham have already made that unit a good deal better.
When they get their legs under them it'll be even better. Rivers moving off ball should help and Ryno getting easier shots instead of dirking it will help too.
