probably more of a no win than you think, best thing is to ignore because women like strife and conflict, and they don't want rational input, and ultimately they will ally together against you, if your wife hasn't set boundaries by now, it ain't gonna happen, best of luck

You use your best judgment and side with whoever you feel is right. Should not matter if it's your mom or wife.

agreed...there should be no taking sides, only level-headed deciding on what is right and what is wrong...
fwiw, I always keep in mind that no one in the world does more for you than your mom over the course of a lifetime....mom was there before the girlfriend came around and mom will be there after the girlfriend is gone...
