League slots teams in each bowl with input from each team and bowl. But the pool of six all are on the same level apparently

I don't think it works that way anymore. The SEC chooses for us if I remember correctly

I think each team submits a top 3 or 4 in order of preference. The SEC goes off of that, with their own preferences mixed in.
