If Ohio St is so good, why aren't they the 3rd seed?

If you can argue that Ohio state is better than both TCU and Baylor, how can Ohio State not be better than Florida State?

Florida State had the least impressive resume and had to struggle to win most of their games.

Best wins against Georgia Tech, Clemson and Louisville?

I still contend that the committee dropped FSU to #4 last week anticipating them possibly losing to Tech and making it easier for them to drop them out if they did. They haven't shown a lot of respect for their undefeated slate all season.

Who would Alabama rather play? Ohio State. That's why they are the #4 seed. If the committee hadn't been forced to release rankings each week, people would have been shocked to see FSU at #3 today.

Florida State had 12 wins over power 5 conference teams.

They had better wins than Ohio State, and a much better loss (you know, because they don't have one).

Florida State over Ohio State is not close.

No, FSU dropped to 4th because they looked like absolute shite against a terrible UF squad. Jameis had the worst game of his career, and if it wasn't for Dalvin Cook, FSU would have lost.

Then again, FSU would have 3 losses at the least if it wasn't for Cook.

I find the committee ranking to be quite interesting. It seems apparent that overall resume got you into the top 4, but the eye test was responsible for the seedlings.

For example, I don't see how any rational observer can argue with the make up of the top 4. These are the best 4 teams in college football. However, the final seeding was a bit more subjective. I think Oregon and Alabama are basically interchangeable based on how thoroughly there beaten good teams at times this year. Before last night, I wasn't completely sold on Ohio State, but that was one of the most impressive wins in college football this year, and when your splitting hairs at the end, I believe it puts them over the top. As for FSU, i respect the fact that they continue to find a way to win, and being undefeated is enough to put you over OSU , but not enough to pass Oregon or Bama.

It's set to give Bama the easiest path to the championship. Let them start against a Big 10 team that is down to their third string qb and has a habit of shitting the bed against the SEC.

No, not Baylor. It should have stayed as it was, bama vs Fsu then either Oregon or tcu.

Thats and tOSU lost at home to a 6-6 VT that struggled to get bowl eligible in the pathetic ACC.

TCU's only loss was to a top ten team on the road.

Baylor's only loss was on the road in one of the hardest places to play in the country vs a team that could have been a 9 team if a few bounces went their way.

You must not have watched any of the game last night. Cardell Jones is a better passer than Barrett and Miller.

I watched it and he had a really good game, but, he is still the 3rd string and will get eaten alive by Bama. OSU always sucks on the big stage.
