Because they will sell or tickets and get more ratings than TCU/Baylor

They're better than the alternatives. That's how.

Nothing to do with it. The committee doewn't care about that. That is the point of the committee

If the Big 12 had one champ they would be in. An aggie fan saying nobody cares lol, keep letting the sec as a conference hide your failure as a program

Kirk Herbstreit and his Ohio St bias is sickening. Of course he thinks the committee did a great job.

Way to show your hand, you have no idea what you're talking about.

This was about money and TV ratings, that's it. People have been saying the Big10 sucks all year, that weekend when Michigan State and Ohio State lost out of conference just confirmed it.

Honestly, anyone who has watched college football for a while has seen these teams playing bad schedules running up huge numbers suddenly become normal when playing even average defenses.

Oregon actually fell in that category when they faced Auburn. AU had Cam but their defense that year was in the bottom half of the SEC and yet dominated Oregon's offensive line.

That may not be the case with TCU or Baylor, but, the well is a bit poisoned for teams like them.
