I'm not a huge Ford fan but it is too bad they didn't go full production with the 70 "King Cobra" - better looking than the comparable Plymouth Superbird that did go into production.

This is one of three prototypes:

Nice looking car, but I still think I'd rather the Superbird....

Plymouth/Dodge had to build the SuperBird/Charger Daytona to race them.

Richard lost a race (had to pull in the pits) b/c the vinyl roof was peeling up.

I'm surprised he could find the pits, he couldn't find his wife Lynda's mouth in 1992.

Only way that thing makes 700 hp is if John Kaase built the motor, and I highly doubt that. it sure didn't leave Dearborn in 1970 making 700 hp.

Friend of mine all through high school had a 1970 Ford Torino Grand National. It had a 428 Cobra Jet in it and it absolutely flew. He would borrow my truck and let me use it. Driving 60 mph on I-10 and stand up on the gas and it turned sideways. Man that was fun to drive. Might have been a 71.

Alzheimers and cancer

Lost a parent to each.

I'll take "Cancer" for $1000 Alex.

That way I can have a say in my exit date and terms, if need be.
