their win helped Florida State and tOSU and killed their conference hopes.
That is one helluva way to get bowl eligible by beating your rival and fricking everyone in your conference.

They are still going to have to explain how TCU goes from #3 to #5 and put in a Ohio St team with their 3rd sting QB. I just don't see it happening.

I mean that's kind of a reach considering FSU OSU TCU and Baylor all beat Okie State, but I see what you're saying as far as it being a wash for the in conference teams and a gain for the OOC teams.

Their 3rd string QB just torched Wisconsin. I don't know that you can use that as a knock against them at this point.

If Ohio State makes it, they're going to the Rose Bowl against Oregon.
Even with the playoff, the Rose Bowl is still going to want their Big 10 Pac 12 matchup if they can get it. FSU winning by 2 gives the committee the chance to do it.
Personally, I think they just leave it as is.
