How will the College Football committee explain the following.

1) How can you Leave out FSU? They are currently undefeated, defending champions, on a 29 game win streak, and tried to schedule a tough OOC schedule.

2) How do you leave out TCU after putting them #3 in the polls last week? They crushed ISU in their last game, Big 12 CO-Champs, and a Superior OOC schedule to Ohio St and Baylor?

3) How can you leave out Baylor? They beat TCU head to head, Big 12 Co-Champions, and have now beaten the same amount of ranked teams as TCU.

4) How can you leave out Ohio st? Even with their 3rd string QB, they shutout a #13 Heisman frontrunner Wisky team 59-0. Ohio St is also the one true champion of their conference.

Those weekly rankings are suddenly looking like a horrible idea. Somebody is going to butt-hurt like hell. We should of went with the 8 team playoff.

Honestly, I feel like they are going to shite on TCU. They are going to replace TCU with Baylor and come off as complete dicks after putting them #3 last week and in the CFC polls multiple weeks.

They will probably try to shoe horn in the injury excuse for Ohio St.

In the Old BCS System, we would still be number 2.

BCS system would be easy: Bama vs FSU
No one else could argue against that matchup in the BCS system. Undefeated reigning champs vs best CFB program of last 5 years that won the SEC. Picking the playoff is much harder this year. Cant wait til someone argues that the BCS was better on natl television

If Ohio State gets in, they'll be #3.

That way the Rose Bowl gets their Pac-12 vs Big 10 matchup

This is the way the playoff needs to be. Take your 5 conference champs and 1 at large. Top 2 seeds get bye weeks. Play the games at higher seed's home stadium. This year it would be something like :

1 Bama (bye)
2 Oregon (bye)

3 FSU
Vs 6 TCU (at large)

4 tOSU
Vs 5 Baylor

How pissed is the committee right now?

"Couldn't ONE of these other teams have pulled an upset??? Just ONE was all we needed!"

They are going to have shite thrown at them no matter what. I love it.

Honestly, I hope the committee does this. I don't want to go to Rose bowl for a semi-final game.

Imagine the intial College football playoff viewership ratings if these are the bowl selections.

Bama vs FSU Sugar Bowl
Oregon vs Ohio St Rose Bowl

Yeah this weekend couldn't have gone any worse for the committee decision making.

A lot of Blowouts and another narrow FSU victory.

Honestly, Florida State should be left out more so than the others.

This

I think Ohio State gets in because of their name more than anything, but winning 59-0 makes it easy for the committee, especially since the Big 12 doesn't have a championship game.

that's easy. No conference championship game. The other 4 all played conference championship games against very tough opponents and came out victorious.

Conference Champs
Defending national champs
Undefeated

There's no way in hell they should be left out. I don't care how ugly their wins were.

I'm sure it's already been said, but the committee will base it all on TV ratings.

Bama
Oregon
FSU
tOSU

3 traditional and 1 new power program. 4 nationally recognized brands. Ratings will be through the roof. Baylor and TCU are screwed, and the fact that the Big12 didn't he;p them any is irrelevant. Nobody really cares about those 2 programs. ESPn will pretend they dont even exist, just watch.

If the committee is smart they would stop the weekly ratings but I don't think ESPN money will allow it
