Watching the game, it shows how easy and safe passing actually is in college football today. 90% of Bama's passes are to a guy wide open in space. The Qb really isn't much of a factor

When I look back on last year, our passing game seems good because our Qb was a stud who threw darts into tight coverage. We never have these simple plays where guys are running wide open

Eta: 90% is clearly an exaggeration. Here is my tampon edit for those who need it

I mean it is so glaring. Every lass we throw seems so tight and well covered. Even last year

Preach, brother.

Keep in mind that the pumpers will be here to remind you that the team that fired Cam's arse went on to win a Superbowl. They think that's somehow a mark of distinction for him.

Not at all. Just curious regarding the qualifications of someone who says that passing is easy.

As soon as Jennings stops throwing at our receivers like they're 12 ft tall, then we can worry about how much space is around them.

Was he fired for throwing too much and running too little or the other way around? I forget.

I don't know the particulars, but I know that most people who are fired for something other than misconduct kind of suck at their job. Maybe Cam was the exception.
